Welcome to the home for the 2013 Northwest Submission
Challenge - the largest BJJ and grappling tournament in Idaho. We are happy to announce our next installment will be held April 26th-27th 2013. Once again this event will be held in Boise, Idaho at the Capital High School Gym. This next event will be held a little bit different. All Kids Divisions (ages 12 and younger) will be held on Friday night during the first ever Budo Kids Cup! All entries for the Budo Kids Cup will be FREE! All teens and adults will compete on Saturday during the Northwest Submission Challenge. For more info or to register for athletes 4-12 years old please visit the Budo Kids Cup site!
We are proud to, with the support of the Idaho Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation, once again invite the top men, and women
grapplers in the northwest to show their skill and competitive
drive. This is a family friendly event for competitors of all
ages, skill levels, and discipline. This is an open tournament, you do not have to be affiliated with any style, academy or gym to enter. There will be divisions for men, women, teens, and an executive class for athletes over the age of 35 the day of the tournament.
There is a rules meeting at 8:50am April 27th, if you have not competed before I HIGHLY recommend to attend this meeting.
We will be awarding custom medals to 1st-3rd place
Divisional prizes will include: Budovideos.com gift cards, training jerseys, and more!
For the Men's Purple Belt Absolute divisions will be winning the mundials prize pack presented by Infinity Kimonos; the winner will receive air fare, hotel, and registration for the 2013 Mundials!

Spectator admission for the Northwest Submission Challenge is $5 for adults and free for kids 12 and younger.
Weigh In: There will weigh ins Friday, April 26th from 6-9pm
at Capital High School gym, or the day of the event from 7-9am at the event.

Price: We still have one of the lowest registration fees for the size of the tournament in the northwest. Other tournaments charge upwards of $70 for ONE DIVISION!

At the Northwest Submission Challenge, the Mens Purple Belt absolute division winners will receive airfare, hotel (2 nights), and registration for the 2013 Mundials in California. The kids will have their own special tournament Friday night called the Budo Kids BJJ Cup. There will be divisions for gi and nogi all the registrations costs will be FREE!
For the first time ever in Idaho we will have a 3 on 3 team challenge! This unique division will be incredibly exciting and a new challenge to competition grappling!

Ref Clinic - Have you ever wanted to have the best seat in the house for any of our tournaments? We are looking for a few dedicated people to join the ranks of our reffing staff. You must be a blue belt in BJJ or have at least 2 years experience grappling. We are going to have a ref clinic in Friday November 4th.
