Welcome to the home for the 2012 Northwest Submission
Challenge - the largest BJJ and grappling tournament in Idaho. We are happy to announce our next installment will be held April 28th 2012. Once again this event will be held in Boise, Idaho at the Capital High School Gym.
We are proud to, with the support of the Idaho Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Federation, once again invite the top men, and women
grapplers in the northwest to show their skill and competitive
drive. This is a family friendly event for competitors of all
ages, skill levels, and discipline. This is an open tournament, you do not have to be affiliated with any style, academy or gym to enter. There will be divisions for men, women, kids, teens, and an executive class for athletes over the age of 35 the day of the tournament.
There is a rules meeting at 8:50am April 28th, if you have not competed before I HIGHLY recommend to attend this meeting.
We will be awarding custom medals to 1st-3rd place

Spectator admission for the Northwest Submission Challenge is $5 for adults and free for kids 12 and younger.
Weigh In: There will weigh ins Friday, April 27th from 6-9pm
at Capital High School gym, or the day of the event from 7-9am at the event.

What Makes Us Different?
There are a lot of tournaments out there, why choose ours?
Price: We still have one of the lowest registration fees for the size of the tournament in the northwest. Other tournaments charge upwards of $70 for ONE DIVISION!
Absolute Prizes: Where else can you win a trip to compete in the Mundials for winning the absolute division? At the Northwest Submission Challenge, the Mens Blue Belt absolute division winners will receive airfare, hotel, and registration for the 2012 Mundials in California. We also award a GracieMag subscription to ALL our absolute winners.
Divisional Prizes: Each division winner recieves a NWSC training jersey, or a Budo Videos.com Gift card plus custom medals for 1st-3rd. |

We will be having 6 MATS OF COMPETITION! In our evolution to provide the best possible grappling experience the 5 mats will make the day run much smoother and faster.
Ref Clinic - Have you ever wanted to have the best seat in the house for any of our tournaments? We are looking for a few dedicated people to join the ranks of our reffing staff. You must be a blue belt in BJJ or have at least 2 years experience grappling. We are going to have a ref clinic in Friday November 4th. The clinic is free to any ref willing to commit to 2 tournaments. Contact us from the contact page for more info.
Hotel Partner: We have teamed up with the Spring Hill Suites to offer a fantastic deal for our competitors. A double queen suite with a roll out couch that sleeps up to six people for $74 per night! There is a pool, and a fitness room at the hotel and it is just MINUTES from the tournament and close to resturants.
